Safety First

The safest and most advanced gas shut-off valve yet is now available from Black Teknigas.

The Powerseat is an electro-hydraulically operated valve which comes complete with a manual reset switch, preventing automatic valve start-up when power is restored to a building following a cut in power.

However, unlike the oftused manual reset valves, the Powerseat cannot be tampered with to prevent closure so is fully compliant with industry standard EN 161. The Powerseat’s reset switch does not affect the integral operation of the valve and cannot be manipulated so any interruption of power will always result in virtually instantaneous cut-off of gas.

The electro-hydraulic operation also means that the Powerseat has a smooth, controlled opening at a low speed that will ensure a substantially linear increase of gas when power supply to a building is turned on. The Powerseat is available in sizes 11/2" – 3" BSP and flanged,
65mm – 250mm (21/2 – 10").
